Shai is a Senior Vice President at GENKAI Capital Management- a trailblazing Japanese Asset Management Firm.
In addition to investing throughout the capital stack in commercial real estate Shai is investing in and supporting groundbreaking innovation.
Shai Started his real estate career at a New York Investment Bank where he was involved in, well over, 12$US Billion in CRE debt and equity transactions.
Upon returning to Japan, Shai joined global advisory firm Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK) where he was the recipient of the Broker of the Year, the Transaction of the Year Office/Logistics and the Deal of the Year (across all business lines) excellence awards.
In addition, Shai is an adjunct professor at Temple University and previously at New York University.
Shai holds a master’s degree in real estate finance & Investment from New York University and a BA in Management & East Asian Studies (graduated Magna Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University.
Shai is a New York licensed real estate salesperson (inactive).
