Amir Abdu is a Principal on BGO’s U.S. Investments Team. Amir is responsible for the sourcing and execution of new investment opportunities on behalf of all BGO clients. Amir leads the Firm’s Powered Land and Data Center strategy in the U.S. and is also responsible for the Firm’s investment activity in various geographies, including New York City and South Florida. Amir has been with GreenOak, a predecessor firm to BGO, since 2015 and has over 11 years of experience in the real estate industry.

Prior to joining GreenOak, Amir began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Real Estate Group at Goldman Sachs, where he focused on corporate M&A and capital raising on behalf of publicly traded clients. Amir graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with a BA in History.

With Generali since 2005, Alberto Agazzi currently serves as Head of Generali Real Estate International, overseeing the real estate investment and portfolio management activities in the USA, UK and APAC markets.

Prior to this role, he served for nine years as CEO and General Manager at Generali Real Estate SGR, managing the Pan European fund management activities with an AUM in excess of 15 bln euro.

Alberto joined Generali from Mediobanca, where he worked in Real Estate Advisory team. He began his career in Milan with an engineering company as Project Manager.

A profound expert in the international real estate markets, over the years he served on the Boardof Directors of several real estate private companies.

He received an undergraduate degree in Building Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and an MBA from SDA Bocconi.

Alberto is deputy Chairman of Assoimmobiliare, the Italian real estate association, and he is serving as member of the Management Board at
INREV.

Christine Anderson serves as Global Head of Corporate Affairs, overseeing Public Affairs, Marketing, and ESG functions.
She serves as the primary spokesperson for the firm, advising Blackstone’s senior leaders and business groups, as well as companies across Blackstone’s portfolio on communications strategy. She oversees the firm’s marketing function, including its content creation and self-publishing efforts. She also leads Blackstone’s efforts related to Environmental, Social and Governance issues.

Before joining Blackstone in 2009, Ms. Anderson served as Communications Director and Director of Marketing to the former Governor of New York as well as Communications Director on the 2006 gubernatorial campaign. Before working in state government, Ms. Anderson was an Associate Director of Corporate Communications at UBS AG supporting U.S. media relations and serving as a spokesperson for the company’s Wealth Management division. During the 2004 U.S. Presidential election cycle, she served as a Deputy Press Secretary on the Kerry-Edwards campaign. Ms. Anderson also previously worked as an Account Director at the public relations firm Brunswick and as a Segment Producer for ABC News’ “Good Morning America” after starting her career in the Press Office of the Clinton White House.

Ms. Anderson received a BA from The College of the Holy Cross. She serves on the board of Diligent Corp. and the boards of several non-profits including: the Blackstone Charitable Foundation, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, the GO Project and the Nature Conservancy’s Impact Finance & Markets advisory board.

Adam Berns is the Chief Investment Officer, US at GLP Capital Partners (“GCP”). Prior to GCP, Adam was involved in various transactions while at GLP, including GLP’s entry and expansion across the US and Europe and its privatization in 2018. Before GLP, Adam worked at Och-Ziff and Blackstone in the real estate private equity groups.

Adam graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Ankit Bhatt oversees Oxford’s US Industrial investment business and is responsible for the overall strategic direction and investment activities within the sector. He has led Oxford’s entry into the US Logistics space since 2018 which today is a ~US$7.0 billion business focused on big-box industrial development (via 50% ownership in IDI Logistics), direct-drive national light industrial platform and a significant investment in cold storage (via Lineage Logistics, the world’s largest cold storage operator). Ankit also serves as a Board of Directors member for IDI Logistics.

Prior to joining Oxford in 2013, Ankit worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Investment Banking group at CIBC Capital Markets where he was involved in over $20 billion of cross-border transactions. Ankit began his career at KPMG in the Real Estate Transaction Advisory group. Ankit holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at Western University and has completed the General Management Program from Wharton Business School. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Jim Blakemore is a Managing Partner and the Global Head of Debt at BGO. In his role as a member of BGO's global management team, Jim leads the firm’s global real estate debt strategies, managing approximately $16 billion of commercial mortgage loan assets across the globe. Jim founded BGO's European debt team which has invested over $6 billion of capital from institutional investors and is an active lender on commercial real estate properties located in the UK and across Western Europe.

Prior to joining the firm, Jim was the European Head of Lehman Brothers' Global Real Estate Group for Europe and the Middle East. In this role, he oversaw Lehman Brothers European on-balance sheet real estate activities including commercial mortgage and mezzanine lending. At Lehman Brothers, Jim served on its European Operating Committee, European Fixed Income Executive Committee as well as its Global Fixed Income Operating Committee. Prior to that, he worked at Lehman Brothers in New York where he originated and structured mortgage loans and CMBS transactions. Jim began his career as an attorney at Thacher Proffitt and Wood (New York) where he practiced real estate and securities law.

Jim is a member of the Board of Trustees of Lewis and Clark College (Portland, Oregon) as well as a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council. Jim is a graduate of New York University School of Law and Lewis and Clark College.

Emarie Bohanon joined Tishman Speyer in 2016 and currently focuses on the firm’s debt financing activities for new acquisitions, development projects and existing properties within the United States. She joined the firm as part of Tishman Speyer’s Analyst Program, first spending time in Corporate Strategy and executing key strategic initiatives. Emarie also did a rotation in Portfolio Management where she worked on the firm’s value-add real estate funds. Additionally, she served as Tishman Speyer’s Investment Committee Secretary. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer full-time, Emarie spent a summer as an intern in the firm’s Development group working on its office projects in Hudson Yards. Emarie is a member of Tishman Speyer’s Black Employee Network and participated as a REBNY Fellow for the Real Estate Board of New York. She holds her BBA in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Miami.

Jonathan Brasse is the senior editor for PEI Media’s Real Estate Group which comprises the group's real estate publications, PERE and Real Estate Capital. Jonathan leads the group’s editorial team and is responsible for setting the agendas for the print and online editions of both publications as well as all associated publications. He joined PEI in 2009 and has assumed various reporting and editing roles since, including responsibility for PERE’s coverage of the private real estate markets in Asia. He has a BA from the University of Kent and is an NCTJ qualified journalist.

Tom Cox is a Vice President at LaSalle where he works on new acquisitions and strategic joint venture partnerships for LaSalle’s flagship value-add fund series – LaSalle Value Partners US. Tom focuses on high-return investment opportunities and strategies across all asset classes within the United States. Since joining LaSalle in 2016, Tom has held various roles across asset management and acquisitions. Tom earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics with minors in Business and English from Cornell University.

Ms. Crawford is a Specialist Portfolio Manager in the Fixed Income group and is Co-Head of Global Securitized. Prior to returning to TCW’s Los Angeles headquarters in 2020, Ms. Crawford spent two years based in TCW’s London office as a research analyst covering Global Securitized Products. Before joining TCW as a CMBS Trader in 2015, Ms. Crawford was a Portfolio Analyst covering securitized products and commercial and residential mortgage REIT equities at EJF Capital LLC (“EJF”), a $9.5bn multi-strategy alternative asset manager in Arlington, Virginia. Prior to joining EJF, Ms. Crawford was an Associate in the Securitized Products division at Credit Suisse. She started in Institutional Sales covering ABS, MBS, and CMBS investors before moving to Asset Finance, where she focused on residential mortgage banking and securitization. Ms. Crawford holds a BA in Political Science and International Studies from Yale University.

Greg Dool is an editor at PERE responsible for the publication's coverage of American private real estate markets as well as its weekly, subscriber-exclusive Blueprint digest. He was previously an editor at The Real Deal, where he ran the outlet's commercial real estate beat and managed its monthly print magazine, among other duties. Prior to The Real Deal, he spent five years as a senior editor at Folio: magazine, a media industry trade journal, and has worked as a freelance writer and consultant specializing in business journalism and branded content. He holds a bachelor's degree in English from Villanova University.

Jim Dunbar is a Partner and Head of Real Estate Lending. He oversees commercial real estate debt strategies, including loan originations and loan trading. He has also led investments in real estate operating companies, hospitality assets and non-performing CRE loans. He is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Based in Minneapolis, he joined the firm in 2010 and was named Partner in 2022.

Prior to joining Värde, Jim was a Senior Vice President at Macquarie based in Chicago. He had multiple roles within its real estate business including commercial real estate investments with joint ventures partners, developing new business initiatives and forming real estate investment trusts. Prior to Macquarie, Jim worked for Salomon Smith Barney/Citigroup within its investment banking division in New York and Sydney.

Jim graduated from Boston College with a B.S. in Finance.

Kevin represents private equity sponsors and others in all matters relating to their real estate investments and strategies. He focuses on capital investment directed to real estate assets and real estate operating companies, debt financings within all segments of the capital stack, joint ventures, property and operating company acquisitions. Kevin’s practice has an emphasis on the acquisition and disposition of industrial and logistics related assets, data centers, self-storage, office and multifamily assets.

Kevin regularly advises foreign and domestic clients with respect to the formation and capitalization of programmatic and single-asset joint ventures. Kevin also represents clients in connection with recapitalization of real estate platforms, operating companies and assets, and he works closely with Kirkland’s real estate investment funds team in connection with the formation of real estate investment funds and their related operations.

Andy Field is an SVP, Investments for Oxford Properties. For the past 13 years, Mr. Field has been a member of the Investments Team based in New York responsible for Equity and Credit acquisitions & dispositions. Mr. Field currently focuses primarily on Oxford’s Credit Investments across all U.S. markets and sectors.

Prior to joining Oxford Properties in 2011, Mr. Field worked in real estate investment banking at Societe Generale, JPMorgan Chase and Anglo Irish Bank in New York, where he was involved in over $2 billion of real estate transactions in debt capital markets and balance sheet lending, as well as asset management activities and note dispositions. Prior to Societe Generale, Mr. Field worked for CBRE.

Mr. Field holds a B.S. in Finance with a Concentration in Real Estate & Urban Economics from the University of Connecticut. Mr. Field is a board member of Covenant House Real Estate Sleep Out, a global movement to end youth homelessness.

As Co-Founder of Qualitas, Mark is Global Head of Real Estate, leading a team of investment professionals across everything from origination, execution and analysis to asset and portfolio management across real estate private credit and private equity strategies.

With over 20 years of experience across residential, commercial office, industrial logistics, retail and multifamily housing asset classes, Mark has been responsible for over A$15 billion of transaction value across Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, the US and New Zealand.

Christopher (Chris) Gray is the CEO of EcoSmart Solution (ESS). ESS is a green energy services provider of scalable, sustainable infrastructure for new real estate developments and retrofit solutions for existing buildings. For developers of new construction, ESS designs and delivers an innovative geothermal infrastructure combined with a comprehensive suite of distributed energy resources. For existing assets ESS delivers turnkey, bespoke carbon and energy reduction retrofits with benefits to owners, landlords, and tenants.

Chris brings an extensive background in energy and engineering. Before leading ESS, he served as the CTO of the company. Prior to that he stood up a company RENU Communities which developed a process and team to deliver decarbonization retrofits, and before that he spent over 15 years working within energy giant Southern Company in various roles and operating companies including: research and development, sales, and new business development.

Chris is highly active in the Energy industry and is highly engaged with ASHRAE. Chris holds multiple engineering degrees including a PhD in Civil Engineering where his doctoral coursework and research focused on sustainable construction practices and energy efficiency within the built environment.

Chris is a registered Professional Engineer in multiple states as well as, a licensed mechanical contractor.

Kim Hourihan is Chief Investment Officer for CBRE Investment Management. In this role, Kim is responsible for investment strategy, performance and risk and has oversight of all the regional and strategy-specific investment committees.

Kim previously served as CIO for CBRE Real Estate Investments, responsible for the overall investment strategy for REI, including investing CBRE capital into CBRE Investment Management investment programs and Trammell Crow Company development deals. She also previously served as CIO – Americas Direct Real Estate Strategies for CBRE Investment Management and Portfolio Manager for one of the firm’s comingled funds. She also served as a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for two international sovereign wealth fund clients, with total assets under management of more than $4 billion representing 11.7 million square feet. In this position, Kim was responsible for client relations, portfolio management, asset management, acquisitions and dispositions.

Kim is passionate about strategic thinking, continuous learning and creative problem-solving for her clients. She enjoys the tangibility of real estate, the challenge of launching new entities and the opportunity to support and coach senior talent.

Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management in 2007, Kim had roles as Senior Vice President at Starwood Capital Group, Partner and Regional Director at TA Associates Realty, and Senior Vice President at Georgetown Holding in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, directing multiple acquisitions ranging from a bank in Geneva to a magazine in Hong Kong. Kim began her career in 1990 at U.S. Trust Company where she was responsible for real estate construction lending.

Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard University.

Matt Jackson is the co-Portfolio Manager, alongside Reid Liffmann, of TPG Angelo Gordon’s U.S. real estate funds. Matt joined TPG Angelo Gordon in 2009 and, prior to his portfolio management role, was responsible for real estate activities in the Southeast and Texas as well as real estate special situations. During his tenure at TPG Angelo Gordon, Matt has been directly responsible for, or overseen, in excess of $9 billion of real estate assets. Prior to joining TPG Angelo Gordon, Matt worked in the Acquisitions and Capital Markets Group of Vornado Realty Trust where he focused on both public and private real estate acquisitions and asset management. Matt received his B.S. degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Timothy Johnson is the Global Head of Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies, based in New York. Mr. Johnson is responsible for overseeing Blackstone’s commercial and residential real estate debt investment strategies and is also a member of the firm’s real estate investment committee.

Before joining Blackstone in 2011, Mr. Johnson was a co-founder of BroadPeak Funding, a boutique commercial real estate finance company based in Los Angeles. Prior to founding BroadPeak, Mr. Johnson was a Vice President in the Lehman Brothers Global Commercial Real Estate Group where he worked from 2002-2008.

Mr. Johnson received a BA in Mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross where he graduated cum laude.

Brian Kingston is Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield's Real Estate business. In this role, he is responsible for investments, operations and the expansion of the Real Estate business. Prior to his current role, Mr. Kingston led Brookfield’s Australian business activities, holding the positions of CEO of Brookfield Office Properties Australia, CEO of Prime Infrastructure and CFO of Multiplex.
Mr. Kingston joined Brookfield in 2001. Under his leadership, Brookfield has conducted a wide range of mergers & acquisitions activities, including investments in Forest City Realty Trust, General Growth Properties and Canary Wharf.

Mr. Kingston holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University.

Jake Kramer is a senior managing director on the debt team for Kayne Anderson’s real estate group, responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing the portfolio of commercial real estate debt.
Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2023, Kramer was head of commercial real estate for American Equity Life Insurance Co. (NYSE: “AEL”) overseeing the origination and portfolio management of debt and equity investments including direct lending ($500MM+ annually) and JV partnerships. Kramer previously spent five years as senior vice president at Starwood Property Trust (NYSE: “STWD”) where he originated and structured commercial real estate debt investments. Prior positions include CMBS capital markets roles at Five Mile Capital and RBS Greenwich Capital.

David M. Lebovitz, Managing Director, is a Global Market Strategist on the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Global Market Insights Strategy Team. In this role, David is responsible for delivering timely market and economic insights to clients across the country. Since joining the team, David has helped build the Market Insights program in the United Kingdom and Europe, has appeared on both Bloomberg TV and CNBC, and is often quoted in the financial press.

David joined J.P. Morgan in 2010. Prior to joining the firm, David was a Research Analyst at Kobren Insight Management. At Kobren, David was responsible for small and mid cap equity research, and worked alongside the CIO and other analysts to construct model portfolios for investors of various risk tolerances.

David obtained a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy, with a concentration in Leadership Studies, from Williams College in 2009. He earned a dual-MBA degree from Columbia University and London Business School in 2015.

Evelyn Lee is Editor for PEI Group’s real estate-focused publication, PERE, overseeing global news coverage for both its digital and print platforms. Based in London, she manages a team of journalists across PEI’s offices in New York, London and Hong Kong.

She joined the company in its New York office in July 2011 as a reporter covering the industry in the Americas. She became senior reporter in January 2014 and was promoted to news editor in July 2015. Evelyn relocated to PEI's headquarters office in London in 2018 and was promoted to editor in 2019. Prior to joining PEI in 2011 she covered commercial real estate, economic development and environmental issues at NJBIZ, a New Jersey-focused business publication.

Ed is Head of Global Logistics Real Estate at NBIM. He leads NBIM’s unlisted logistics real estate strategy, transactions and asset management. NBIM’s unlisted logistics portfolio consists of approximately 136 million square feet across 12 countries. As of December 31, 2022, NBIM’s net investment value in private logistics real estate was approximately $11.5 billion.

Prior to joining NBIM in 2016, Ed served in investment roles at GLP and IndCor, Blackstone’s first US logistics real estate operating platform. Over his career, Ed has been involved in over $21bn of completed real estate transactions. Ed holds an MSA and BBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Norges Bank Investment Management is the asset management division of Norges Bank, the Norwegian central bank. As manager of the Government Pension Fund Global, its mission is to safeguard and build financial wealth for future generations in Norway.

The fund is invested globally in equity, fixed income, real estate and renewable energy infrastructure. It had investments worth 14.8 trillion kroner, or $1.39 trillion, as of Q3 2023.

The fund owns direct real estate investments worth approximately $30.5 billion, totalling nearly 800 assets across 13 countries.

Founder and Managing Director of Global SWF, based in New York / Singapore. He is a world-renowned expert on Sovereign Wealth Funds, having acted as practitioner and advisor for many years and published several articles in leading academic journals. He has worked as a consultant of the World Bank and of the United Nations and supported the establishment or reformulation of a number of SWFs around the world.

Diego is a seasoned banker and consultant with over 18 years of experience. Prior to founding Global SWF, he spent five years building up PwC’s footprint in the SWF industry as the Director and COO of the global practice. He started his career in Santander, and spent several years in Accuracy and KPMG.

He has lived and worked in North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Far East Asia. He earned his Masters in Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE) after graduating in the Universities of Madrid and Milan. He is a FINRA-registered representative with Series 62, 63 and 79.

Diego is a prolific open water and ice swimmer and has raced in all seven continents including Antarctica. He is the author of "Continents Seven: Values for sports, business and life, learned around the world"

Ms. McKnight is a member of the real estate team and focuses on various investment and portfolio management activities. She is also a committee member of the StepStone Charitable Giving Program and on the Global Allocation Committee.

Prior to joining StepStone, Ms. McKnight spent more than a decade at Carlyle’s Metropolitan Real Estate, where she served as the co-Chief Investment Officer and was the fund head for Metropolitan’s Global Funds series. She was a Consultant with Cambridge Associates and held various roles with JP Morgan. Ms. McKnight sits on the Investment Committee for Sutter Health, the fifth largest US non-profit community-based healthcare provider and the Real Assets Investment Subcommittee for Swarthmore College. She recently served as a Senior Advisor to Juniper Square, focused on Capital Markets applications of their investment management software.

Ms. McKnight graduated with high honors from Swarthmore College and earned an MBA from New York University.

Stan Mullikin is Senior Managing Director in the Capital Markets Group of Crow Holdings Capital, where he is responsible for the debt capital markets activity across the investment management business. He currently sits on the CHC Investment Committee and Credit Investment Committee. He has been associated with CHC and CHC-affiliated entities since 1998 where he began his career as an analyst.

Stan’s previous roles at CHC have included acquisition, development, disposition and asset management responsibilities across the Industrial, Retail, Office, and Convenience Stores & Gas Station sectors.

Stan received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern Methodist University.

Harris is a managing director in Affinius Capital’s credit platform where he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring, and portfolio management. Harris also oversees distressed credit investment management including all debt restructuring activities, note sales, and note purchases. Prior to joining Affinius’ predecessor Square Mile Capital, Harris worked in the real estate credit funds at Brookfield Asset Management. He has held previous roles at Redwood Trust and LNR Partners. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

With over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, Tim has helped both public and private companies raise in excess of a billion dollars. Prior to joining Macritchie, Tim was president of Solnet Capital, which provided capital markets advisory services to both public and private companies. Previously, Tim spent six years as Vice President of Institutional Sales at Macquarie Capital, and eight years in equity research at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse First Boston and Midland Walwyn Capital with a focus on technology, telecommunications and North American printing coverage.

At Macritchie, Tim is a member of the Executive Committee, Investment Committee and was previously responsible for Otter Self Storage, a vertical which acquires and automates self-storage facilities in mid-tier markets across the US. Under Tim’s direction, Otter committed over $125M of capital and acquired over 25 facilities across 12 states. Tim has since transitioned to focus on fundraising initiatives, strategy, and working alongside portfolio managers.

Tim holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, a BA from York University, and is a CFA.

With a track record of more than 30 years in finance, global investment and international commercial real estate, Nathalie Palladitcheff has been fully committed to this industry and is often asked to speak on market trends as well as on her sustainable investment convictions.

She was President and Chief Executive Officer of Ivanhoé Cambridge between 2019 and April 2024 based in Montreal and thus responsible for ensuring the Company's growth and evolution as well as an optimal long-term return on Quebecers’ assets, while having a positive impact on the communities where the Company invests. She undertook a transformation of the portfolio to bring the Company to a new stage of its development with an emphasis on innovation and diversification. Her achievements include the development of an engaging corporate social responsibility strategy and a strong emphasis on rational sustainability.

She was member of the Real Estate Roundtable in Washington DC, chair of the Canadian commercial real estate association Realpac and co-chair of the real estate group of the World Economic Forum.

After starting her career in finance with PWC and Banque Française Commerciale (Crédit Agricole group), based in the Indian Ocean, Ms. Palladitcheff worked for 15 years in various areas of real estate investment, development, and services mostly for public European companies, SFL, Dolmea Real Estate (Axa Group) and Icade.

Ms. Palladitcheff is Chair of Frey’s Mission Committee and member of the ULI global board.

She supports the work of Montreal children hospital Sainte-Justine Foundation and sits on its board of directors. She has led a number of fundraising campaigns for philanthropic causes that benefit Quebec communities.

Ms. Palladitcheff is a graduate of the Burgundy Business school. She was made a Chevalier of France’s Ordre national du mérite in France and received many awards globally for her leadership in the private equity and real estate industry.

Randy Plavajka is the deputy editor of PERE Credit, a PEI Group publication focused on the US private commercial real estate credit market. He manages the title's weekly newsletter, Term Sheet, and specializes in analysis on bank lending relationships, C-PACE financing and construction financing. Prior to working at PEI, Randy worked as a leading reporter at Traditional Fund Intelligence covering the mutual fund and ETF industry at With Intelligence. He is a graduate from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, earning a master's degree from the institution.

Prashant Raj joined QuadReal in September 2020. As Managing Director, U.S. Debt Investments, he focuses on debt investments including mortgages, mezzanine loans, commercial real estate bonds and platform investments in the United States.

He brings 22 years of experience in commercial real estate capital markets and lending to the QuadReal team. Prashant was formerly a Senior Managing Director of Guggenheim Partners, where he also held senior positions including Head of Guggenheim Commercial Real Estate Finance and Head of Commercial Real Estate Capital Markets and Special Situations. He started his career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in 2000 in the Commercial Mortgage Group and has held various roles at Credit Suisse Securities in the Real Estate Finance and Securitization Group.

Prashant holds a Bachelor of Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi and attended the MPS Real Estate Program at Cornell University. He is a member of the CRE Finance Council and serves on the Board of Directors of SAYA, a youth development organization in New York City.

Dr. Mohammad Rasouli is a thought leader in AI and technology for investment. He is Stanford AI researcher, former Microsoft engineer, and ex-McKinsey consultant from the Bay Area and the New York offices. He is the author of "AI for Investment: A Platform Disruption". Mohammad is passionate about automating investment, as the new Turing test for AI. He is in the process of building a best of breed AI platform for investment funds with his team and in conversation with fund managers.

Mohammad has managed AI activation of top-20 private equities and many other funds to automate the fund investment processes and their portfolio companies as a consultant. As an AI researcher, his papers on AI for markets in top AI conferences and journals have 450+ citations. Also, as an educator, he has co-taught a course at Stanford Graduate School of Business for "Empirics of Online Markets". He has PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, working with Nobel prize winners, and MSc in Economics.

Mohammad leads the AI for Investment team, publishes and speaks at investment venues, and runs the AI for Investment webinars.

Nylz Reyes is an independent consultant specializing in real estate investment and finance, with extensive experience in asset valuations, acquisitions, and financing strategies. Before establishing his consulting practice, Nylz was an associate within Northwestern Mutual Investment Management Company’s Real Estate Group, supporting debt and equity investments across various property types in the Northeast, Midwest, and Mid-Atlantic regions within the company’s $65 billion real estate portfolio. His expertise includes due diligence, market analysis, and advanced financial modeling. Earlier in his career, he was part of CBRE’s Valuation Group, working on assignments in the Boston and Philadelphia areas. Additionally, he is highly active in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the commercial real estate industry and is the founder of DCRE TV, a podcast dedicated to these topics. Nylz has been featured in Bisnow’s Next Generation Series and has contributed articles to PERE and IREI. He holds a Master’s in Real Estate Finance from New York University and a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina A&T State University.

Michael is co-head of our Real Estate practice. He concentrates in commercial real estate and has wide-ranging experience in many aspects of real estate law.
He advises major property owners, developers, sponsors, credit and other funds and other investors on acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, financings and restructurings, preferred equity, joint ventures and sale-leaseback transactions.

Michael also advises clients on the real estate aspects of mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions.

Samantha Rowan is the editor of PERE Credit, a PEI Media publication which sits alongside Real Estate Capital Europe and PERE. Prior to joining PEI, Sam was the editor of publications that included Real Estate Finance & Investment, Securitization News, and REIT Café at both Euromoney Institutional Investor and With Intelligence. A graduate of Barnard College, Sam is the president of the Columbia University Band Alumni Association, a registered 501c3, and a past volunteer coach of the Columbia University Cycling Club.

Marshall Saffer is a strategic and operational business leader with demonstrated success in launching, growing, and managing software and services companies. For the past 25 years, Marshall has provided solutions to many of the largest PE funds, hedge funds and traditional asset managers, bringing a deep understanding of operations and a strong technical background.

He was the managing director, Global Head of Funds Services Line at Intertrust Group, a CSC Company. He has previous experience working with MIK Fund Solutions, DataArt, and Hazeltree.

Marshall earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Connecticut College.

Hiten Samtani is the founder and editorial director of ten31, a new media platform focused on market-moving insider coverage of the most important and least understood industries. He is the author of The Promote, a popular newsletter that readers have described as commercial real estate's answer to Matt Levine's "Money Stuff." Hiten founded ten31 after a decade at The Real Deal, where he ran the newsroom and shepherded coverage of the most important stories in real estate. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Columbia Journalism School, a very fine Ping-Pong player and a terrible dancer.

Megan Saunders is the senior managing director of ESG for Kayne Anderson’s real estate group, responsible for the overall ESG strategy and consideration of ESG issues in the development and investment process.
Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2022, Saunders spent over 14 years in sustainable real estate, most recently as the director of sustainability for Lendlease’s Communities business where she led efforts in environmental and social sustainability strategies for their military housing and privatized Army lodging portfolios. Saunders worked with the business to develop the strategic direction and execution of project and portfolio-level outcomes in alignment with Lendlease’s carbon and social value targets. Prior to joining Lendlease, Saunders advised commercial property owners on the range of government and utility incentives available to green their buildings at Incentifind. Previous roles have included leading sustainability for architecture and engineering firm PBK, as the executive director for the Stamford 2030 District, and as a sustainable buildings consultant at Vidaris. Over her career, Saunders has worked in various sectors that have allowed her to cultivate a unique ability to translate environmental and social impact in order to create value and has been the key catalyst for the formation of strategic partnerships.
Saunders received a M.A. in City and Regional Planning from The Bloustein School at Rutgers University, and a B.A. in Sociology from The College of New Jersey. Saunders is a LEED AP BD+C, ND and a Fitwel Ambassador.

Jack Sidders is an award-winning senior reporter at Bloomberg News where he has been covering real estate since 2016. Prior to that he wrote for trade magazines focused on the real estate and construction industries. Over the past 14-years he has broken news on many of the highest profile property deals across Europe and beyond and published investigations and analysis examining the forces shaping the industry.

Jack is a regular speaker at industry events, a co-anchor on Bloomberg Radio's Daybreak Europe program and guest on Bloomberg Television.
His work has been syndicated in newspapers across the world from the Australian Financial Review to the Washington Post and Los Angeles Times and he regularly contributes to Bloomberg’s print magazines, Bloomberg Business Week and Markets Magazine. Jack's work has been recognised by organisations including the International Building Press Awards, the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing, the National Association of Real Estate Editors, the Press and Publishers Association and the British Society of Magazine Editors.

Adam Sklar is a Co-Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of Real Estate for Monarch. Adam is responsible for the research of investments across the firm’s various segments. Prior to joining Monarch in 2007, Adam was an Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at JP Morgan where he worked on advisory and corporate finance assignments for specialty finance clients. He currently sits on the Goizueta Advisory Board at Emory University and the Board of Directors of Teach for America in the New York Region. He is also a Director of Quinn Residences (an owner and operator of purpose-built single-family rental communities). Adam graduated from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where he earned membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, the business honor society, with a B.B.A. in Finance.

Mr. Sloan is Vice Chairman and Head of Commercial Real Estate Debt based in Los Angeles. He serves on the Leadership Committee, several investment committees, the Environmental, Social and Governance Committee and the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.

Mr. Sloan began his career at Wells Fargo & Company in 1987. He held leadership roles in the company’s credit and real estate operations and headed groups including Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate and Specialized Financial Services. He held various executive roles such as CAO, CFO and COO. In 2016, Mr. Sloan was appointed CEO, President and member of the company’s Board of Directors. He retired from Wells Fargo in 2019 after 31 years of service. Mr. Sloan is a member of the Board of Trustees of the California Institute of Technology, serving as Chair of the Board’s Investment Committee and also serves on the Board of Governors of the Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens.
In addition, Mr. Sloan is a member of the Advisory Board of the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, from which he received an MBA in 1984.

Thomas Stanchak serves as the Managing Director of Sustainability for Stoneweg US, LLC, an investor, investment manager, and developer of multifamily real estate in the United States.

Tom seeks to effectively integrate sustainable practices into multifamily real estate investing to promote resident well-being, equity, continuous improvement toward environmental goals, all while creating value for capital partners. His commitment to ESG is showcased by affiliations with respected entities such as the U.S. Department of Energy's Better Buildings Multifamily Steering Committee and the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) Environmental Committee.

With a forward-thinking approach, Tom developed the "Multifamily Sustainability Engagement Toolkit," a SaaS platform fostering apartment community sustainability integration. Additionally, through a collaboration with Decarbon, he's worked towards a comprehensive GHG accounting and management solution.

Tom has successfully explored the opportunity potential of AI in multifamily real estate and has demonstrated his vision for improved operational efficiency and market intelligence in the area of ESG and beyond.

Under his leadership, Stoneweg US earned the Sustainability and Innovation Award, Sustainable Leadership Award from the St. Petersburg Downtown Partnership & the Environmental Defense Fund and was recognized as a Freddie Mac Multifamily Impact Sponsor.

Tom also contributes to the broader industry dialogue. Through these efforts, Tom strives to be a collaborative force for a sustainable future in multifamily real estate.

Broderick Storie is a partner and Co-Head of Real Assets at PAG. He is responsible for supervising the operations and management of PAG’s Real Assets strategy. Prior to joining PAG, Mr. Storie was the Chief Risk and Investment Officer for real estate investment at Pramerica Real Estate Investment. He previously worked in the real estate practice of Babcock & Brown Limited, an investment management company.

Mr. Storie received his bachelor’s degree in banking & finance and accountancy from the Queensland University of Technology.

Jameson Weber joined QuadReal in January 2018. As Managing Director, International Real Estate, Americas, his focus is on building the international portfolio, with an emphasis on our strategy in the Americas region.

He was formerly a Vice President and part of the founding team at Hightower, a leading real estate technology company, where he was responsible for both product strategy and business development. Previously, he held senior positions at Oaktree Capital Management and Cerberus Capital Management where he focused on equity and debt investments in commercial real estate and corporate real estate and securities. Prior to that he worked in the real estate group at Morgan Stanley.

Jameson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Stuart Wood has been with Alter Domus for over 12 years and is a Managing Director responsible for Business Development and Relationship Management across clients focused on Real Estate, Private Equity, Private Credit, and Infrastructure. With 20+ years of experience including various positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Citadel Solutions, Omnium, and Northern Trust, Stuart is a solutions-oriented expert in middle and back office operations.
