Ulla joined NIO in 2022 to set up a dedicated infrastructure solution to investors.
Ulla has 20+ years of experience from the industry, throughout her career focusing on evaluating GPs/asset managers across liquid and illiquid markets. Most recently, she was Head of Alternative Investments at Nykredit where she was responsible for building Nykredit's infrastructure FoF platform to reach €1bn. Prior to joining Nykredit in 2011, she held the role as Head of Equity Research at Aon Hewitt in London and, prior to that, MD at Kirstein A/S as well as teaching assistant in statistics at Aarhus and Copenhagen Business Schools. Ulla holds a Master in Finance & Accounting from Aarhus School of Business.

Michela Bariletti
Chief Credit Officer, The Phoenix Group
Michela joined Phoenix Asset Management as Chief Credit Officer in May 2021. In this role, Michela is leading the Credit Research and Ratings team for all asset strategies pursued by Phoenix Group, which have capabilities to assign internal ratings to private credit and illiquid assets in an approach consistent with industry peers and adhere to regulatory requirements. Michela joined Phoenix from Pension Insurance Corporation where she served as Head of Ratings and Credit Research. Prior to that, Michela spent 14 years at S&P Global Ratings, London, most recently as Senior Director, Infrastructure Ratings – EMEA Analytical Head, managing a team of 20 analysts and a portfolio of over 150 issuers in the infrastructure sector. The portfolio included corporate and project finance transactions covering social infrastructure, road, transport and renewables. Michela started her career at Goldman Sachs within the Equities Division. She holds a DEA en Analyse et Politique Economique (Master in Economics) from EHESS, Paris and a Specialization in Finance as a Ph.D. candidate from HEC, Paris.

Aditi Bhattacharya
Unit Head, Private Sector and Climate Finance, Asian Development Bank
Aditi is the Unit Head, Private Sector and Climate Finance, at the European Representative Office of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) where she leads origination of sustainable infrastructure investments in emerging Asia. She has over 14 years of experience, closing over USD 800 million in direct investments in renewable energy, digital infrastructure, and utilities. Previously, she worked with the International Finance Corporation in PPP structuring and advisory, successfully closing some of India’s first PPPs in energy-efficient street lighting and universal healthcare.
Asian Development Bank
The ADB is a multilateral development financing institution with 68 member countries, focused on sustainable infrastructure and poverty eradication in developing Asia and the Pacific. As the region’s climate bank, the ADB has announced its ambition to provide $100 billion of its own capital resources, from 2019 to 2030, for climate action and for supporting a just transition in its developing member countries

Anish Butani
Managing Director, Infrastructure, bfinance
Anish is a Senior Director in the Private Markets team at bfinance & leads the firm’s coverage of the infrastructure asset class. Since joining bfinance in 2017, Anish has advised a broad range of clients globally in allocating ~$10bn to the infrastructure asset class, including infrastructure debt. Prior to joining bfinance, Anish gained over ten years’ experience as a corporate financier, advising on mergers & acquisitions, financings & valuations of assets in the infrastructure asset class. Under Anish’s leadership, bfinance was recognised in 2019 & 2020 by Infrastructure Journal as ‘Best Investment Consultancy’ as recognised by leading market participants in the asset class.

Nicolas Firzli
Director-General, World Pensions Council (WPC)
M. Nicolas J. Firzli is director-general of the World Pensions Council (WPC), the global think-tank & asset owners association. Mr. Firzli is co-chair of the World Pensions Forum (WPF) held annually in a G12/EU capital, coordinator of the G7 Pensions Roundtable held on the sidelines of the G7 Summit, co-chair of the Singapore Economic Forum (SEF APAC+ Summit), and cofounding-member & advisory councillor of the World Bank Group Global Infrastructure Facility (GIF).
He has chaired the main Asset Owners Roundtable of the 2015 Climate Change Conference (Paris COP 21 Summit) and (co)authored and helped develop key notions such as “Modern Trusteeship and Fiduciary Capitalism”, “The SDG–Driven World Economy”, “The Pension Wealth of Nations”, “Sustainable Finance Shifting the Trillions”, and “The Geoeconomic Century”.
World Pensions Council (WPC)
The World Pensions Council (WPC) is a Paris-based global think-tank & asset owners association focusing on pension funds, social security, and sovereign wealth institutions. We work closely with a wide range of asset owners and government agencies – at executive and board (trustees) level – to ensure employees can continue to receive the retirement income they need whilst building a better life for their children. The WPC is a cofounding member of the World Bank Group-led Global Infrastructure Facility (GIF).

Irina Frolova
Independent non-executive director & Investment Committee Chair, PGGM
Irina Frolova brings over 20 years of international experience in investment management and corporate finance. For the past 8 years she helped to build the EUR 14 bln flagship direct open-ended private equity infrastructure fund at PGGM, most recently as head of Infrastructure a.i. and head of asset management. She is now helping boards, investors and executives with strengthening their investment decision governance and making sustainable capital allocation decisions. She is deeply interested in decarbonization of energy, transportation and agriculture. Irina is board director at GlobalVia, global mobility and concession business, HZPC , global market leader in innovative potato breeding and seed potato trading and Stockholm Exergi, the Stockholm’s energy company active in heating, cooling, electricity and waste management. Irina also serves as chair of audit and risk committees and as an independent member of the investment committee.

Sarah Miller
Senior Vice President, Manager Research, Redington
Sarah works as a Senior Vice President in the Manager Research Team where she has a primary focus on private market strategies and specialises in impact investing. Sarah also leads on Inclusion and Diversity within fund research as well as chairing Redington's Inclusion & Diversity Committee. Sarah joined Redington in July 2019 having previously worked at BMO Global Asset Management and Janus Henderson. She is a CFA charterholder and holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics with Psychology from the University of Birmingham.

Mahesh Roy
Investor Strategies Programme Director, Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change
Mahesh leads IIGCC’s Investor Strategies programme which works on integrating climate change considerations into investors’ portfolios across all asset classes. The team helped found the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative and leads development of Net Zero Investment Framework, the most widely used target and transition plan guidance for investors committed to net zero. His team also works on scaling private finance for adaptation and resilience and integrating nature and a just transition into climate goals. This work builds on an 18-year career in Banking and Finance, predominately at Macquarie Group where he led specialist teams in Financial Services and Healthcare. He holds an MBA, Energy from Cranfield University.

The Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC) is the membership body for investor collaboration on climate change and the voice of investors taking action for a prosperous, low carbon future. Simon Whistler
Head of Real Assets, Principles for Responsible Investment
Simon joined the PRI in 2018 and leads the organisation’s work on real assets. He works with real assets investors to support their understanding and implementation of responsible investment, including on issues such as climate change, human rights, and biodiversity.
Prior to joining the PRI, Simon worked for over 10 years at Control Risks, where he led a team providing political and social risk advisory support to investors and corporate clients in Latin America. This included carrying out due diligence for major investments and projects in the region, and developing appropriate social and governance risk management frameworks.
Simon holds a MSc in Latin American Politics from the University of London (Institute for the Study of the Americas) and a BA in Modern Languages (French and Spanish) from the University of Bristol.

Mujde Zeynel

Müjde Zeynel is an international infrastructure professional with experience in the private and public markets spanning climate smart capital investment planning and management, upstream pipeline development, PPP transaction advisory and capital raising. She is currently the Origination and Business Development Principal at CCN Group. Her work covers deals in Eastern Europe, Turkey, the Middle East and the Central Asian region.
Prior to joining CCN Group, Müjde has had a multifaceted career with institutional infrastructure investors and governments across developed and developing markets. Mujde was a Senior Advisor at the Istanbul PPP Centre of Excellence and an Infrastructure Advisor as part of the World Bank/EU funded 'Sustainable Cities' Program. Prior to that, Mujde has held various roles at the G-20 initiative Global Infrastructure Hub, AMP Capital and more broadly AMP Limited.
Mujde holds a Master’s degree in East Asian Studies from Columbia University, which she earned as a Fulbright scholar, and a Bachelor's Degree of International Relations from TU-Dresden in Germany.

Annette Bannister
Managing Director, MetLife Investment Management
Annette Bannister is a Managing Director and Head of European Infrastructure and Project Finance for MetLife Investment Management (“MIM”). Annette is responsible for overseeing the origination and execution of new infrastructure debt transactions in the UK and Europe, as well as the ongoing management of existing investments. Annette joined MIM in 2015.
Annette has 17 years of experience in project finance and infrastructure debt. Prior to joining MIM, Annette was in the Infrastructure Investment team at Legal and General Investment Management. Prior to this, Annette was an Associate Director at AMP Capital’s Infrastructure Debt Fund where she focused junior debt transactions in infrastructure. Annette also spent five years in investment banking (project and infrastructure finance) at Societe Generale and later, Barclays Capital.
Annette is a graduate of the University of Durham where she earned a BA(Hons) in Business Finance and University of Durham Business School where she earned an MSc in Finance and Investment.

Hans Fredrik Forssman
Senior Investment Manager, Skandia Norden
Hans Forssman has spent more than 30 years in the financial industry, within a wide variety of assets and strategies. Before joining the Skandia PEI team (Private Equity & Infrastructure) to head management of the infrastructure portfolio, he was responsible for procuring alternative investment mandates, creating and managing Skandia’s Thule Real Estate Fund as well as managing multi-assets funds within Skandia Investment Management.
Hans has also been responsible for setting up and managing hedge fund portfolios and private credit mandates for Skandia. Prior to joining Skandia, he was a senior Nordic equity research sales at Credit Agricole Cheuvreux Nordic serving Swedish and European institutional investors. Before this he spent around ten years in different roles in private banking with local Swedish banks.
During his career he has been based in Stockholm, but he has always had an international focus and a global network to gain experience and knowledge regarding international financial markets. Mr. Forssman has a BSc in Economics from the University of Lund, Sweden.

Ted Frith
Chief Operating Officer, GLIL Infrastructure
Ted joined GLIL in November 2018 and he is the Chief Operating Officer. He chairs the Executive Committee and is responsible for the day-to-day management of GLIL.
Ted’s career spans 30 years in investment banking and asset management and he has a track record of building and developing a number of successful businesses. The first half of his career was in the foreign exchange and interest rate markets. Ted worked for Orion Royal Bank, Midland Montagu, Citibank and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.
Ted left investment banking in 2005 and embarked on a new career in asset management.
Ted graduated from Oxford University after studying Chemistry with Quantum Mechanics.
GLIL Infrastructure LLP (GLIL)
GLIL Infrastructure LLP (GLIL) is a joint venture between a number of UK local government pension funds targeting investments in core infrastructure assets predominantly in the UK. The founding partners of GLIL are the pension funds of Greater Manchester, Merseyside, West Yorkshire, who are known collectively as the Northern Pool, and Local Pensions Partnership (LPP) which manages the assets of Berkshire, Lancashire, and London Pensions Fund Authority. GLIL was chosen as an Infrastructure partner by Nest Corporation in March 2021. GLIL has committed capital of £3.6 billion.

Jason Hyunjae Kim holds an MS in Finance and a BS in Civil Engineering from Seoul National University(SNU). He also holds an MS in Real Estate Development from MIT. He is a CFA charter holder and pursuing a PhD. in urban planning at SNU.

Nitesh Mistry
Head of Infrastructure Finance, Swiss Re
Nitesh joined Swiss Re in May 2017 and is responsible for originating, structuring and managing infrastructure debt opportunities in the UK and Europe. He has over 20 years experience in infrastructure finance across rail, roads, utilities, energy and social infrastructure PPP sectors. Mr. Mistry worked previously at Deutsche Asset Management within the European infrastructure team and at the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. where he focused on originating and executing infrastructure debt transactions across the EMEA region. He was responsible for underwriting debt with a total value of c.€1 billion in the transport, social infrastructure and utility sectors. Prior to that, Mr. Mistry worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland plc where he spent over a decade working across advisory, equity and debt transactions in the European infrastructure market. Pantheon is an established and experienced private markets investor, with a 24-year track record of investing in the global infrastructure and real assets markets. The firm launched a dedicated global infrastructure practice in 2009 and, as of March 31st, 2021, had ~$16bn of dedicated assets under management and advice. The RAG-Stiftung is responsible for financing the perpetual obligations resulting from hard coal mining in Germany by RAG Aktiengesellschaft: pit water management, polder measures and groundwater purification. Danae Kyriakopoulou is Senior Policy Fellow at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics where she leads the policy work on the intersections of climate change, international finance and economic development. From 2016 to 2021, she was the Chief Economist and Director of Research of the Official Monetary and Financial Institution Forum (OMFIF). As part of this, she set up the Sustainable Policy Institute and served as its Managing Director and Chair of its Advisory Council, of which she is now a member. She was honoured by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader in 2022 and has held roles in various sustainability industry initiatives. Previously, she was Managing Economist at the Centre for Economics and Business Research. Martin Ragettli
Senior Vice President, IST Investment Foundation
Martin is the co-head of IST’s flagship private infrastructure offering IST3 Infrastruktur Global (“IST3 IG”) and is responsible for all investment activities of the fund. Martin has joined IST in 2016 and has successfully led the due diligence, structuring and execution of a number of direct infrastructure transactions in the electricity transmission, hydro, solar, transportation and telecom space and was instrumental in developing and expanding IST’s infrastructure investment platform and team. Vivek Sapra

Vivek Sapra is an Energy & Infrastructure project finance specialist with over 25 years’ experience in advising & structuring transactions. He joined the Infrastructure Investments team at Talanx Group – Ampega Asset Management GmbH in April 2015 with the mandate to advise, originate and execute transactions to help build the portfolio. Since an almost standing start, it now boasts over €4bn in infrastructure assets under management (both Debt and Equity) across a broad range of sectors, including in renewables, digital, transportation and social infrastructure.
During this period Vivek also spent a year at the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund (now Ninety One with Investec Asset Management) focusing on renewables in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Olga Sclovscaia
Regional Head, MIGA, World Bank Group
Olga Sclovscaia is the Regional Head of Europe and Central Asia at the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), the political risk insurance and credit enhancement arm of the World Bank Group. Based in Paris, Ms. Sclovscaia leads MIGA’s business development and involvement in projects across both geographic regions.
Ms. Sclovscaia joined MIGA in 2000 and has since held previous senior positions in the organization. In her prior role as Global Head and Sector Manager for Financial Institutions and Capital Markets (2012-2019), she led a team that substantially increased its volume of coverage issued and its impact, including the first MIGA guarantee for a public bond issue. Ms. Sclovscaia was instrumental in developing MIGA’s credit enhancement guarantees for financial obligations of state-owned enterprises.
She brings a wealth of private sector experience to her role. Prior to joining MIGA, she worked in the Structured Finance Department of ABN Amro Bank in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where she helped build an alternative risk distribution team and executed various risk mitigation solutions for the bank with public and private sector providers.

Laurent Segalen

Laurent Segalen is a franco-british clean energy investment banker. He is the founder of Megawatt-X, the London-based Energy transition meta-platform, which he currently heads. Megawatt-X has listed more than 15GW of Wind and Solar transactions over the past 8 years. Between 2019 and 2022, Laurent Segalen was Board Member of the PPA digital platform Zeigo, successfully sold to Schneider Electric in Q1_22.
His career in Clean Energy spans over 25 years, from Director at PWC, Fund Manager at Natixis/Mirova to Managing Director Clean Commodities at Lehman Brothers then Nomura. He was awarded Environmental Deal of the Year 2006 by Environmental Finance. Laurens-Jan Sipma

Laurens-Jan is a Senior Portfolio Manager in APG’s European infrastructure team and is responsible for sourcing, executing and performing asset management of infrastructure equity investments, with a focus on digital infrastructure. He has been recently leading the acquisition and setup of Glaspoort (APG-KPN FTTH JV) and Swiatłowód Inwestycje (APG-Orange Poland FTTH JV). Furthermore, he holds non-executive board positions in amongst others Glaspoort, Swiatłowód Inwestycje, Open Tower Company (the leading telecom tower company in the Netherlands), TDF (the leading telecom tower and broadcasting infrastructure operator in France). Before joining APG, Laurens-Jan worked for NWB Bank as VP leading and establishing their infrastructure finance franchise. Prior to this, Laurens-Jan worked for NIBC Bank as an Associate in the Infrastructure & Renewables team.

Lawrence Slade became Chief Executive Officer of the Global Infrastructure Investors Association (GIIA) in January 2020. GIIA represents investors with over US$1tn AUM. Prior to his role with GIIA Lawrence worked with Energy UK since 2011, becoming their Chief Executive in January 2015, additionally he served on the boards of Eurogas and Eurelectric in Brussels. He has been involved in the energy industry since the late 1990’s working in countries all over the world.
