Kate has over 20 years’ experience of capital raising and capital markets, starting her career in investment banking, equity capital markets at Deutsche Bank, London. Bundesverband Alternative Investments

Bundesverband Alternative Investments e.V. (BAI) is the central advocacy association for the alternative investment industry sector in Germany. Vivien de Gunzburg is the Founder, President, and Managing Partner of Ceres Infrastructure Asset Management LLC, the manager of Ceres Infrastructure Private Debt Fund. Based in the U.S., the private credit fund is dedicated to providing and structuring long-term financings for the renovation of large core infrastructure assets in the U.S.

Prior to Ceres, in 2003 Mr. de Gunzburg established the Findercod group in the UK, Belgium, and France. Findercod provides advisory services in the areas corporate finance (including solutions to corporates such as project-based long-term (re)financing), private equity, and asset management.

Prior to founding Findercod, in 2002, Mr. de Gunzburg participated to the creation of Stephens Financial Group (“SFG”) the NY based arm of Stephens Group. SFG was tasked with large-cap mergers and acquisitions. Mr. de Gunzburg served as Vice President in the M&A advisory practice, covering clients in the industrial, aerospace, homeland security, and life sciences areas. Prior to joining Lazard, in 1997 Mr. de Gunzburg joined Rothschild & Cie. Mariana works within the investment team and with portfolio companies to ensure Impact is delivered in line with Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund (EAIF)'s objectives and measured in line with best in class methodologies. Severin Hiller, an experienced infrastructure investment executive with over 25 years in the financial sector, has held key roles in the UK, France, Spain, and the US. In 2023, he joined Qualitas Energy, and he assumed the role of Co-Head of Credit, further showcasing his leadership and expertise in the field. From 2014 to 2023, Severin served as a partner and co-director of Infrastructure Debt at Rivage Investment in Paris. During his tenure, he played a crucial role in establishing Rivage Investment as the ninth-largest global manager of infrastructure debt funds, deploying nearly €5 billion across 128 transactions in 14 European countries. In 2011, Severin transitioned to Hadrian's Wall Capital Limited as an Investment Director after serving as Senior Vice President at Campbell Lutyens since 2008. Before this, Severin held positions at MBIA Insurance Corporation and Charter Financial after beginning his journey at Commerz International Capital Management (CICM) GmbH, Inc. as a Client Relations Manager. Holding both a Master’s in International Relations from Sciences Po Paris and one in International Risk Management from HEC, Mathilde joined RGREEN INVEST in 2019 after spending 16 years working in investment banking (including within BNP Paribas).

Wouter Koning is an Executive Director within ABN AMRO and a Chartered Financial Analyst. He has over 15 years of experience in banking within ABN AMRO Bank of which 10 years in corporate lending and project & infrastructure financing. Since an almost standing start, it now boasts over €4bn in infrastructure assets under management (both Debt and Equity) across a broad range of sectors, including in renewables, digital, transportation and social infrastructure.

During this period Vivek also spent a year at the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund (now Ninety One with Investec Asset Management) focusing on renewables in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Mr. Sauvage holds more than a decade of experience in investment and the infrastructure sector. Before joining CDPQ in 2022, he spent six years as a director within the infrastructure private debt team at UBS Asset Management. He began his career at HSBC, in Paris and London, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions and on financing and advisory services in the infrastructure, utilities, real estate and telecommunications sectors, among others.

Markus is Principal Fixed Income for the Dutch fiduciary manager MN and is responsible for the selection and monitoring of MN’s internal external fixed income managers. Within fixed income, his focus is mainly on public and private corporate credit, residential mortgages and infrastructure debt. On behalf of MN’s clients, he sits in various investment committee. Markus has more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining MN in 2008, he worked as Corporate Treasurer of Koninklijke Wegener NV. In the early part of his career, he worked in various international treasury functions and as an auditor with Deloitte. She joined Ostrum AM in 2016 to participate in the launch of the Private Debt Real Assets department within Natixis Investment Managers Group. This department has since then been transferred to Natixis Investment Managers International and to AEW in January 2024. Céline Tercier began her career in 1998 at the Export Credit Agency COFACE in Paris, in charge of large infrastructure projects. In 2006, she joined DBRS where she was in charge of the rating of transactions within the structured finance department and she developed rating methodologies for project finance debt. She joined Natixis in 2008 within the Global Infrastructure and Projects department; she was head of EMEA Portfolio Management until 2012. Céline Tercier then managed infrastructure debt mandates for institutional investors until 2016.

AEW

AEW is one of the world's largest real estate asset managers, with €77.4bn of assets under management as at 30 September 2024. AEW has over 870 employees, with its main offices located in Boston, London, Paris and Singapore and offers a wide range of real estate investment products including comingled funds, separate accounts and securities mandates across the full spectrum of investment strategies. Matt Toolan is Head of Energy and Infrastructure for AIB in the United Kingdom.

With over 25 years of experience working in energy finance, it is Matt’s engineering background which gives him an edge when it comes to the science behind key technologies of focus, such as renewable energy.
He has been with AIB for over 15 years and was previously Head of Infrastructure at AIB’s Capital Markets operation.

Matt has played a key role in advancing AIB’s efforts to combat climate change, with AIB in Great Britain now boasting the lowest CO2 per KWh in its energy portfolio of any bank. The bank has tripled its Green Lending Climate Action Fund to €30 billion as it accelerates efforts to support the transition to a low carbon economy.

Ms. Zovko is Head of Investor Services and Managing Director - Investor Relations at ECP, where she is involved in the firm’s investor relations, marketing, fundraising and public relations activities. She is Co-Chair of the ESG Committee.

Prior to joining ECP in 2013, Ms. Zovko worked at AlpInvest Partners, the Carlyle Group’s dedicated primary fund, co-investment, and secondary solutions platform, where she was an associate in the Investment Solutions team focusing on developing new clients and investor relations. Previously, Ms. Zovko worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Energy & Power Investment Banking Group.
